Diane Maher Promoted to President & COO of DP Fox Ventures

GRAND RAPIDS, April 9, 2013 – DP Fox Ventures announced today the promotion of Diane Maher to President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).  

Maher will oversee all day to day operations for DP Fox and its affiliates.  DP Fox is a diversified management company with interests in real estate, transportation and sports and entertainment.  DP Fox affiliates include Fox Motors, Fox Powersports, Grand Rapids Harley-Davidson, Auction Holdings, Fox Insurance, Grand Rapids Griffins, and DP Fox Sports.  DP Fox also manages Princess Cays and Cape Eleuthera Resort in the Bahamas.  Previous President, Daniel G. DeVos will remain engaged as the Chairman and CEO.

Maher most recently served as Senior Vice President (Sr. VP)/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DP Fox, Sr. VP/COO/CFO of DP Fox affiliate, Fox Motors as well as overseeing real estate investments in the Bahamas.  She handled all acquisitions for Fox Motors in her role as CFO and COO starting with the first acquisition in 2000. 

Maher joined DP Fox in 1993 as the firm’s Vice President of Finance.  She was promoted to CFO a few years later and to COO of Fox Motors in 2009.  Before joining DP Fox, Maher worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1987 to 1993 as an Audit Manager and as a financial consultant to DP Fox.  Maher is a graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.  She received her designation as a CPA in 1987.  Maher is currently a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the RBC Ministries Board of Directors.  Maher and her husband, Damian, reside in East Grand Rapids with their three children.
