Grand Rapids, MI, August 3, 2026 – Fox Motors announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Maple Hill Auto Group, marking the organization’s entry into the Kalamazoo market and continued growth across Michigan. Located at 5622 West Main Street, Maple Hill Auto Group represents Audi, Genesis, Hyundai, Subaru, Volkswagen and Volvo. The dealerships will operate as Fox Maple Hill.
The acquisition introduces three new automotive brands to the Fox Motors portfolio: Genesis, Volvo and Volkswagen. It also expands the organization’s existing relationships with:
- Subaru, joining Fox Subaru in Grand Rapids, Fox Subaru Macomb and Fox Marquette Subaru
- Hyundai, joining Fox Hyundai in Grand Rapids and Fox Ann Arbor Hyundai
- Audi, joining Audi Grand Rapids
“Kalamazoo represents an exciting new market for Fox Motors and a natural extension of our commitment to serving drivers across Michigan,” said Dan DeVos, Chairman and CEO of Fox Motors. “Maple Hill has built a respected organization with an experienced team and strong customer relationships. We are honored to welcome the team to Fox Motors and build upon that foundation. Adding Genesis, Volvo and Volkswagen, along with expanding our presence with Audi, Hyundai and Subaru, allows us to serve an even broader range of customers. Each brand brings something unique to our portfolio and creates new opportunities to support Michigan drivers throughout every stage of vehicle ownership.”
Maple Hill Auto Group has served Kalamazoo and the surrounding Southwest Michigan communities since 1995. Under the leadership of Owner and General Manager Jim VandenBerg, the organization has grown its automotive presence while maintaining a strong focus on its customers, team members and community.
“My partners and I are incredibly proud of what the Maple Hill team has built over the past 30 years,” said Jim VandenBerg, Owner and General Manager of Maple Hill Auto Group. “As we considered the future of the organization, it was important to find a partner that shared our commitment to our team, our customers, and the Kalamazoo community. We believe Fox Motors is the right organization to carry that legacy forward, and we are excited about what this next chapter will bring. As someone who was born and raised in Kalamazoo, I am incredibly grateful for the support and kindness this community has shown us throughout the years. While the name on the building is changing, customers will continue to see the same friendly faces they know and trust when they visit Fox Maple Hill.”
The Maple Hill Auto Group team members will be welcomed to Fox Motors, helping ensure continuity for customers and preserving the local knowledge and relationships that have defined the dealerships for more than three decades. Community involvement will be an important part of Fox Motors’ entry into Kalamazoo. Through Fox CARES, the organization is committed to listening, learning and identifying meaningful opportunities to support the people and organizations serving the community.
“At Fox Motors, we believe being part of a community means standing shoulder to shoulder with the people who make it stronger,” said Diane Maher Coe, Fox Motors President and CSO. “Through Fox CARES, our goal is to build genuine local relationships, understand where support can have the greatest impact and give back in ways that are meaningful to the Kalamazoo community.”
The acquisition expands Fox Motors’ presence into Southwest Michigan, complementing its existing locations throughout Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Metro Detroit, Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
The new Kalamazoo region will be led by Jerry Moore, Vice President of Operations for Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, strengthening collaboration between the two markets and supporting continued growth across West Michigan. Randi DeSantis who has been with Maple Hill Auto Group since 2004, will serve as General Manager of Fox Maple Hill overseeing day-to-day operations.
