Our History
Fox Motors began its journey in the retail automotive business in 2000. The first purchase was a Fox Saab dealership on Division Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We now have 47 automotive and powersports locations representing 63 brands.
In 2025, we doubled our Fox Powersports locations with the addition of Lakeside Motor Sports & Marine and Nelson's Speed Shop! This move adds 2 new powersports and 10 premier marine brands to Fox Powersports' lineup, solidifying its presence in the growing powersports and marine markets. Later in 2025, we also increased our GM brands with the addition of Fox Greenville Chevrolet GMC.

In 2020, we opened Fox Marquette Chevrolet which brought
back direct Chevrolet sales and service in Marquette, MI. Â We also relocated Fox Mazda to an all-new Mazda

In 2019, we rounded out our domestic presence in Grand
Rapids, MI with Fox Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. We offer all three domestic lines

In 2016, we opened our Fox Powersports superstore boasting 14
brands under one roof. This 56,300 square foot facility brought both Fox Powersports
and Fox Shawmut Hills together as one to bring West Michigan an impressive
lineup of motorcycles, scooters, snowmobiles, watercraft, ATV's and UTV's from
the industry's most highly regarded manufacturers.
